One of our guests mentioned it would be nice to have a coat rack. We agreed and immediately added one, along with extra hooks for leashes by the back door. Always open to tips to make your stay more convenient!

The Chautauqua Lake area is blessed with a lot of amazing small businesses. It’s a big part of what we love about being here. We support these small businesses (and more) every chance we can! Here are a the ones we visited this weekend. We highly recommend all of the small businesses to all of our guests!
giftboutique - Cutest gift shop with tons of choices and a great holiday vibe. We picked some lotions and a cute earring set with a hand crafted jewelry bowl!

- A mix of hand crafted and unique yet classy items. Wonderful customer service and fun products! We loved the fragrances and tea!

Fawn & Fern .ny - Adorable in every way with great attention to detail and awesome customer shopping experience. We bought some room spray we fell in love with!

Opera House and Home (Mayville) - A perfect stop for new mittens and gloves! Warm and super friendly atmosphere with a genuine and lovely owner!

- Macaroons and friendliest owner are worth the trip!

- This new cafe did not disappoint! Great food, updated and clean/bright atmosphere and wonderful staff and service!

- Our favorite spot since they opened. Fantastic food EVERY time. We can’t say enough and we encourage everyone to go! Their triple chocolate cookie is a must have add on.

Truffle Honey Market - So excited about this CHQ Marketplace opening up. We stopped in each store and ended up with some yummy chai lattes from the market. We will be back again!

Found a new-to-us favorite place! Whittier Apple Farm, you have our hearts! 💕💕 We bought one of everything to try. Apple pie, apple cider, apples (they have every kind!), hot cider to go, and the best donuts. This won’t be our last visit! If you’re in the area, definitely stop in before they close for the winter!
