You forget your headphones, left the book you planned to pack on the coffee table, and are sitting at your resort paranoid about leaving the hair dryer plugged in.

There’s nothing worse, in my opinion!

Here’s my day before travel checklist that I’ve perfected to make sure I don’t forget anything:

Start prepping a week before: I start setting things aside for my trip, but I hold off on packing until a day or two before, so I remember what’s in my suitcase.

Do a round of editing: Right before I pack, I edit to make sure I’m packing what I’ll actually need. I also check the weather forecast where I’m headed to make sure I’m prepared.

Carry-on check: I double- and triple-check my carry-on for my documents, my AirPods, my book, and my chargers —basically everything I’ll need on the actual flight.

Travel admin: I call my credit card company, download airline apps, make sure I have a copy of my boarding pass, etc.

House walk-through: turn off the lights, set the thermostat, unplug unnecessary things, lock doors and windows, and set the alarm.

What's on your day-before travel checklist?

Which type of road tripper are you?

The driver. You like to be leading the charge at the wheel.

The navigator. You’re the wingman or woman in the passenger seat directing the driver. Think Chewbacca!

The planner. You’re mapping out the route, the stops for snacks, the landmarks to see along the way.

The napper: Your head hits a pillow, and you’re napping from the moment the car starts until you get to the destination.

I’m the planner.

Which one are you? Or maybe you’re a combination of a few. Share with me in the comments, and happy .

Your week before travel checklist: Family edition

Save this for later! 📌

✅ Make special requests ahead of time for adjoining rooms, cots, cribs, etc.

✅ Request early check-in so you don’t have to wait around if you’re landing before the standard 3 PM check-in.

✅ Pack a secret stash of surprise goodies for the littles to have special moments and good behavior.

✅ Audit your bags to make sure you’re not missing any of the little things like the kids’ toothpaste or their favorite hat.

Family travel planning is as beautiful as it is hectic, and if you need an extra hand with all the little details, I’m just a DM away!

🚫 Problem: You only have 5 days to spare for a getaway

✅ Solution: Me!

I’m the queen of helping clients maximize their vacation time. Here are my best tips for planning short and sweet trips that pack a punch 👇

Here my top recommendations if you want to plan a short trip that packs a punch:

➡️ Prioritize your must-see attractions: Make an “I can’t leave without…” list so you know what to work your time around.

➡️ Be Mindful: Things like the location of your hotel, transportation options, and traffic in the places you are visiting — all of it can impact the time you spend enjoying the place you’re in.

➡️ Stay Flexible: Plan, but leave room for adventure. Magic strikes when you least expect it, so stay open-minded and flexible to make the most of your trip.

➡️ Delegate the Details: Planning a the perfect itinerary for a short trip can be overwhelming. This is where I can help. I can take care of all the details, so that you can maximize your time, without the stress of trying to figure it out by yourself!

Ever been captivated by an image of towering mountains, a tranquil body of water, and a charming little town nestled in between, and wondered where in the world it could be? Chances are, it's Norway!

Dubbed the unofficial "Land of the Fjords," this country boasts a staggering 1,190 fjords. Along these fjords, you'll discover numerous national parks and UNESCO sites, including the remarkable Sognefjord, which stretches an impressive 126 miles. While in Norway, make sure to dedicate an afternoon to coastal hiking or embark on a breathtaking fjord cruise.

Salt Lake City, Utah, is a booming metropolis set against the stunning backdrop of the Wasatch and Oquirrh mountain ranges. Dating back to 1847, the city has a long and fascinating history! The city was originally called the Great Salt Lake City for its close proximity to the Great Salt Lake. In prehistoric times, Salt Lake City actually sat on the shoreline of Lake Bonneville. Moving through downtown, you'll probably notice the abnormally wide streets. When the Mormon pioneer settlers were laying out their plan for the city, they built the roads wide enough to accommodate their oxcarts to make a U-turn. While you probably won't see any oxcarts in the city today, you will find plenty of bars, restaurants, and museums to occupy your time.

April is flying by, isn’t it?

But hey, what a ride it‘s been! Feeling major gratitude for the awesome clients I got to plan with this past month.

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

This month I got to curate a dreamy escape for clients jetting off to New York City for a multi-generational adventure: Grandmother, mom and granddaughter. They have never been and oh, the excitement of finalizing those details for an unforgettable experience.

But hold on, can we shine a spotlight on my fantastic clients gearing up for an adventure in the Southwest? Have you explored the beauty of Sedona and Santa Fe? They finally managed to carve out time from their crazy schedules to enjoy some spa time and indulge their love of architecture and nature.

And now I’m just staring at my phone, waiting for you to message me so I can start building your dream vacation, too.

What are you waiting for?

When envisioning Canada, it's common to imagine vast expanses of snow and frigid winters. However, depending on your location, this perception may not be entirely accurate. Take Toronto, for example, situated across Lake Ontario from New York State. In this bustling city, you can experience the full spectrum of four distinct seasons. The chilly winters graciously give way to warm, inviting summers.

To ensure your vacation aligns with your desired activities, it's crucial to consult the weather forecast beforehand. For those seeking thrilling hikes and leisurely hours spent by the lake, I highly recommend planning your visit to Toronto between May and September. On the other hand, if you crave a magical winter wonderland and are willing to bundle up in multiple layers, the winter months are tailor-made for your adventure.

Have you started contemplating the possibilities awaiting you in Toronto? Don't hesitate to reach out to me via DM or email to commence the planning process!

If you are planning to visit Salzburg, make sure to explore the majestic cathedral, which is a significant landmark in the city's skyline. Although it was originally built in 774, it underwent reconstruction in 1181 after a devastating fire. This cathedral holds great religious importance and is considered one of the most sacred churches in Salzburg. Its grand facade and imposing dome showcase an extraordinary display of early Baroque influence, which is unparalleled in the northern Alps region. To obtain more information about visiting the Salzburg Cathedral during your upcoming trip, feel free to reach out to me via direct message or email. Don't miss out on this opportunity!
