Wisp is opening Friday!

The day we’ve waited for is here...

We are STOKED to announce that we are opening for the 2023-24 Winter Season Friday, December 15th! Our Snowmaking Team has been hard at work taking advantage of cold temperatures to get the slopes ready!

The chairlifts will start to turn at 9am Friday, December 15th for skiing and snowboarding. Snowtubing opens at 4pm.

Some pictures from our 2-day son’s and dad’s trip. We hit Short Story Brewing, Funland Arcade, scaled the rock climbing walls at Fork Run, day of tubing on the lake, daily fires, corn hole and whiffle ball in the yard, hiked Rock Maze, and grilled. Can’t wait to get back.

Rock Maze trail is one of our favorite trails to hike close to Sawin’ Logs. 15 minutes from the cabin and a few minutes from Swallow Falls. Check it out next time in Deep Creek.

At Sawin' Logs, we have you covered with Regional Sports from Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Washington DC on Direct TV Stream. Watched the Pirates remain hot to start the season earlier today and now watching the Nationals/Orioles game! Still an open weekend in May and week days during June, July, and August.
