While we were there last week, Truth Traveler, a NEW VR Experience, broke ground in Pigeon Forge and hopes to open later this year or early 2025.

The address is 2680 Parkway across from The Island.

The VR experience will take you from the Garden of Eden all the way to Pigeon Forge. There will also be a planetarium showing the full scale of the universe. Last, but not least, a gift shop and Biblically themed food items will be available. The entire project will span across 26,000 square feet and will cost 15.5 million dollars.

The project is being coordinated by Answers in Genesis, the people who brought you the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Both are wonderfully done in Kentucky and are well worth the trip to visit. This will be a great addition to the Smokies!

We arrived in Pigeon Forge, TN (the place we just can’t get enough of) last night and decided to try Sunliner Diner. It was delicious and we will probably be back again this week. 😂 So much fun! The menus are newspapers and they have a working jukebox! 10/10 recommend!

Since it was announced almost four years ago, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! The bayou and Mama Odie scene is my favorite part of The Princess and the Frog. This re-theming is absolutely genius and I love seeing all the updates. Opening this summer! 🥳
