JOIN THE FROG JUMP
Everyone is welcome to participate in the 2020 Valley City Frog Jump competition by submitting your own video clip of your frog’s jump. Make the 59th virtual version of the annual festival special in light of these times.
Inject some fun and lightheartedness into the Summer of 2020. Have some fun by inviting family and friends across Ohio to record their fog jumps. Be funny, be creative, and be SAFE. Wash your hands, maintain safe social distance, and wear a FROG MASK!
Here are the rules of participation:
Find a frog (or a toad if you wish)! Make sure you safely care for and return your frog or toad to its environment when you are done!
Name your frog. (Only appropriate names considered or entry will be disqualified)
Record your jump with your cell phone. Just like at the real Festival:You have only 30 seconds max to complete three (3) successive jumps with your frog.NO touching your frog.You may yell at it, blow on it, or stomp around it to get it to jump, but NO touching the frog.
Email your jump to us at: [email protected] your name and your cell phone number. (If it’s a family or group entry, you can name your family/group.)
Prizes will be randomly selected based on the number of entrants. Prizes will also be offered for humor, creativity, costumes, and decorations. Be creative.
The entry deadline is 5:00 p.m. on August 18, 2020.
