Qatar Airways took this year's Airline of the Year award, for a variety of high ratings in in-flight innovations, safety procedures during the pandemic, operational safety, pursuit of excellence and environmental leadership. It also won the Best Business Class award, the best In-Flight Catering award and was rated the Best Long Haul Middle East/Africa airline.
Air New Zealand was awarded the Best Premium Economy award for the third straight year. It also received the Best Economy Class award and was rated the Best Long-Haul Airline in the Pacific.
Singapore Airlines has once again been rated the Best First Class for the third year in a row! It has also been rated as the Best Long-Haul Airline in Asia/Pacific regions.
Qantas has been rated the Best Regional Airline in the world; it operates out of Australia. It was also recognized for having the Best Lounges and the Best Domestic Service, both awards of which it has taken for the past three years.
Emirates won the Best In-Flight Entertainment award for the third straight year, offering over 4,500 channels, language learning services with uTalk, as well as music, podcasts, and Wi-Fi.
Southwest Airlines has been named the Best Low Fare Carrier in the Americas. While no seat assignments might not be fun, the prices sure are.
United Airlines the second American airline on this list is United Airlines. It has been recognized as the Best Long-Haul Airline in the Americas, beating out Delta, which had held the title for the past two years.
EasyJet was recognized for being the Best Low Fare Carrier in Europe, replacing Wizz, which had won the past two years.
Lufthansa has won the Best Long-Haul Airline in Europe, a title it had won last year, too.
Virgin Australia has once again won the award for Best Cabin Crew, a title it has been awarded for three years now.
