What if I told you that this summer may not actually be the best time to take that trip to Europe?

I don’t mean to rain on anybody’s parade, but with T-Swift, the Olympics, and, well, it just being summer in Europe, this year will be crowded, pricey, and a little bit wild.

If you‘re looking for a more low-key adventure to Europe, I recommend setting your sights on September and October.

Here are 3 Fall getaways to Europe to get your creativity flowing:

1) Tuscany, Italy: September and October are wonderful shoulder months to visit Tuscany. The summer crowds have thinned, but the weather is still warm and sunny, perfect for exploring the region's many hill towns and vineyards. You can enjoy outdoor activities like hiking or biking, or simply relax and soak up the beautiful scenery.

2) Munich, Germany: If you're looking for a festive atmosphere, Munich in September and October is the perfect place to be. This is when Oktoberfest, the world's largest beer festival, takes place. For two weeks, the city comes alive with music, dancing, and of course, plenty of beer. Even if you're not a beer drinker, there's still plenty to enjoy at Oktoberfest, from the traditional food to the lively atmosphere.

3) Budapest, Hungary: Budapest is a beautiful city with a rich history and culture. September and October are great times to visit, as the weather is mild and there are fewer crowds. You can explore the city's many castles, museums, and thermal baths, or take a cruise down the Danube River.

During these months, the warmth of summer still lingers, but the crowds will drop drastically and if you’re lucky, you may have a few of those “Are we the only ones here?” moments.

🚢 Did you know that on the Disney Dream and Fantasy within category 8A there are a handful of Staterooms with a split layout?!?
Look at this room divider and space! The area with the bed has it's own TV too. I just love the privacy that this layout allows.
This room does not feature the split bathroom layout, but just look at what you get instead. And TWO large portholes windows!
These rooms do book up quickly, I mean you can guess why...more reason to book your Disney Cruise Line sailing early!

Friendly reminder to look at those dates on your passport if you are traveling between now and the end of the year.
Remember:
•a good rule of thumb is that your passport must be valid and not expiring within 6 months of your trip. If expiring before 6 months, you could be denied entrance or boarding.
•applications are free to fill out. Please make sure you go to travel.state.gov. If any website asks for a fee, you are not on the legit site.
• never put off renewals-get it done!
