The Rotary Club of Metropolis is taking orders for the 2025 Superman Celebration License Plates!!!!!

Exciting News!!!

The Metropolis Rotary Club is excited to share the Superman License Plate design for 2025!

HUGE thank you to Michelle Bradley for designing the plate for us this year, it looks FABULOUS, don't you think?

We are already accepting applications for this years plates as well, please utilize the link below to submit you application and instructions for payment!

This is one of The Metropolis Rotary Club's largest fundraisers. Funds made from this project allow our club to support our community, students and other philanthropic organizations! Help us, help our community!!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Jim Hambrick, a beloved founding board member of the Greater Metropolis Convention & Visitors Bureau and the visionary owner of the world-famous Super Museum. Jim’s passion for Metropolis and his dedication to preserving the legacy of Superman brought joy to countless visitors from around the globe. His impact on our community is immeasurable, and his legacy will live on in the memories and stories of all who knew him. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and the entire Metropolis community. Rest in peace, Jim. You will be greatly missed.

The 50th Anniversary of the Fort Massac Encampment in Metropolis, Illinois was the best ever. The food, the history, the fun, and the DRONES! Fort Massac State Park is a wonderful destination all year around.
