Some kind words from the newest member of the NEM Family, AdCare Hospital. We’re looking forward to our new partnership and demonstrating to you what our customer-first philosophy truly means.

AdCare Hospital Going Green with New England MedWaste!

Jim Souza, Director of Facilities Management, is excited to announce that New England MedWaste has been chosen as our Biohazardous and Pharmaceutical Waste disposal company. NEM will safely and securely collect, transport, and process regulated medical waste from AdCare Hospital and its Outpatient Facilities.

NEM operates the only state-of-the-art regulated medical waste processing facility in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is committed to protecting the environment through its clean treatment process and waste-to-energy initiatives.

AdCare Hospital will be utilizing reusable sharps containers as well as reusable bins to ship out biohazardous waste as opposed to the industry-standard cardboard boxes. This, as well as not purchasing disposable sharps containers will help reduce AdCare's carbon footprint.

As we move forward Jim will be leading the newly formed AdCare Hospital Sustainability Committee to guide AdCare to become a "greener" facility.

It was a long but incredibly productive week for all of us here at NEM, and we couldn’t be any prouder! We installed over 400 reusable sharps containers and implemented our Complete Waste Stream Solutions (CWSS) Program at our first hospital, Signature Brockton Hospital.
Under our CWSS Program, we are providing Signature Brockton Hospital with Regulated Medical Waste and sharps disposal, controlled substances management, confidential document destruction, municipal solid waste & recycling, and compliance training and consulting.

We started our company three years ago with a vision of changing the culture of this business and offering a much-needed alternative when it comes to healthcare institutions partnering with a vendor for all of their needs and providing them with exceptional customer service. With our customer-first philosophy, we are gaining traction and positively impacting NE Healthcare institutions.

We have been extremely busy here at New England MedWaste (NEM) during Q1 2021, lots of exciting things happening that we will be sharing in Q2 of 2021, stay tuned!

We have grown our sales organically by welcoming several new customers to the NEM Family during Q1. With this growth, we identified the need to update our website to one that tells our story, vision, and the value we bring to the Regulated Medical Waste industry.
We have partnered with LPCS Websites & Digital Marketing for a complete makeover of our website, we couldn’t be any happier with the end result, and we hope our customers are too!
