Started in the 1930's by Lewis Long, Long's Auction Service is a third generation, family owned and operated business located in scenic Juniata County. Lewis handed the business down to his two sons, Raymond Long, Sr. The brothers eventually handed the reigns over to the third generation, Raymond Long, Jr. Long's Auction Service specializes in estates, machinery, and real estate including farms, raw land and timber. With a sad and heavy heart, I start this 2017 Auction season without my friend and colleague, Josh Delancey. Josh is not only missed by all of us at Long’s Auction Service, but by all those attending our sales as well. Josh was a SPECIAL guy with an unforgettable, warm and friendly personality. Josh was a good auctioneer and I was proud to have him on our team. With the passing of my father Auctioneer Raymond Long Sr, in 2014, Josh was there for me to lean on.
