For over 50 years, we have offered a completely mobile day camp experience, one that has become a tradition for thousands of families. Ask our kids what makes the program special and they'll say it's the counselors. Ask our parents what makes the program special and they'll say it's the special attention their children receive, the experience of the director and the excited faces of their kids whe

n they pick them up from camp. Ask some of our "alums" what makes our program special, they'll say "it was so much fun!"

Summer Camp is such a great time at Adventure Camps. We provide a safe and fun environment for children to explore the many wonders that San Francisco and the Bay Area have to offer. Each day at Adventure Camps is filled with new and fun places for kids to discover and investigate. The diversity in our days educates, engages, and encourages children to try something new, and learn more about themselves in the process. Where kids have the space and support to be kids! Your children don't have to be stuck inside a building while the weather is beautiful outside this summer. And if it's cold and foggy (typical SF summer weather), we leave it behind and head to warm and sunny summer fun.

During the school year Adventure Camps offers it’s unique, totally mobile before school program for pre-school age children. We invite you to join us in our 50th year of providing a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to discover and explore the many wonders of San Francisco. In our well-equipped maxi-vans, we explore the amazing landscape of San Francisco. Each day, we select activities that are the most appropriate for the children, combining education with entertainment and structure with spontaneity, to create a program that is well balanced and lots of fun. We spend a lot of time outdoors. Some of the activities we enjoy, include exploring and playing in Golden Gate Park, flying kites on the Marina Green, creating new playground games, and visiting the big ships and Maritime Museum at Aquatic Park. We love to visit the bison or the horses in Golden Gate Park. Hunting for treasure and finding the perfect sticks to build the best tree forts. When the weather gets cold and wet in the winter, there are plenty of indoor places we can visit. We love to learn about marine life at the Maritime Museum, and there is always something new and interesting at the Randall museum. Fort Point and the Presidio Museum offer us new insight into San Francisco’s colorful history. There is no end to the amazing and fun places we explore at Adventure Camps!

Our unique Mobile Day Camps are available during school vacations. This is a great time to be in camp — a time to meet new friends, renew old acquaintances, and have a fun break from school. We provide a safe and fun environment for children to explore the many wonders San Francisco and the Bay Area has to offer. Our Vacation camp activities combine education with entertainment and structure with spontaneity to create a well-balanced and fun program. A wide variety of activities may be chosen from, based on the daily weather and season, the ages of the children, and the counselor’s expertise.
