As announced at our bridge lighting event, we are waiting on Duke Energy to complete their part of the project. Once that is complete, the bridge lights will be on permanently every night, and we will make an announcement so you know!

Big Thank You to everyone who has helped make the Bridge Lighting a success!

Special thanks to the following~
-State of Indiana and the IHCDA for approving this project and providing the matching grant that made it possible.
-Bridget Anderson, with Patronicity for being a great coach and guiding our way.
-Town of Milltown and our board, Steve Hamm, Justin Barnes, Jean Melton, Jerry Mackey and Jay Smith for approving this project and working with us every step of the way.
-Our Town Marshall, Jimmie Vincent and his team for always keeping us safe during our events and always willing and ready to help at a moment's notice.
-The Commissioners of both Harrison and Crawford Counties, we are thankful for your approval of this project.
-Joe and Lindsey Poe for their beautiful photo backdrop and for doing all of our social media work.
-Jane Carr for providing the snacks, drinks and games for this event.
-Sherri and Derek Nail, and their daughters Summer and Allison. Their businesses, Cave Country Canoes and Out of the Blue Coffee Shop and Ice Cream, bring many visitors to our town each summer. You continue to pour life into this community with your dedication to Milltown.
-Beard Electric, for taking on this project and the many electricians who had a hand in making this happen.
-Patsy and Terry Stroud and their Beautification Committe who keep our town flowers looking beautiful.
Adam Sines, our events Committee for bringing an outstanding festival to our town year after year.
-To the many people who purchased a ticket to Bridge the Gap, donated or purchased an item at our silent auction, baked a cake for our desserts table, bought a T-shirt, donated the use of tables and chairs, helped set and/or clean up.
And many more, we truly Thank You!

As you can see, it takes a community to make these events happen!

Permanent lighting is coming to the Milltown bridge. A community effort to raise $10,000 will be matched with a state grant to fund the project.

Beard Electric will soon begin installing the lighting on our beloved bridge possibly starting this week. Please extend them some Milltown courtesy and be cautious in the area. This project could begin as early as tomorrow depending on the weather and last a few weeks. Again please slow down in the area!
