Trying to wrangle restless energy I to creative energy has my trying this year. The goal is (follow either of those hashtags on Instagram to follow along) which may be a stretch, so I’ve freed myself to do anything nisse/fairy/elf related. Goodness knows I’ve hoarded enough supplies over the years to handily finish at least 100 little dudes/dudettes. Here a peak from the first couple posts...

Sneak peek into the Danish room for American Swedish Institute's annual Christmas at the Castle exhibit. This year's theme is Myths, Legends and Fairytales and runs from November 14, 2015 - January 10, 2016. I'll be chaperoning the nisser this Friday at the sold out opening night Glögg Tour.

The nisser are on a road trip this weekend! We trekked to the mountains to hang with the fine folks of the Danish Sisterhood for their national convention. (For Denver locals, there's a Danish Marketplace set up and open to the public. We're at the Inverness Hotel in Englewood all day Friday & Saturday. Come say hi!)
