Cale has been nominated to go on a "once in a lifetime" music tour to Europe. It's a 16 day tour.

OMG...the art, architecture, scenery is all just so amazing. The churches are incredible and those bells 😍🥰 Cale Hockhalter is having an awesome experience. They left this morning from Salzburg, Austria and headed to Germany. Here's some more pictures Cale sent me from the last couple days in Austria.

Cale's in Austria now. He sent me more pictures last night from Switzerland and Austria. They drove through Lichtenstein on their way to Austria. He didn't get any pictures though, because he slept through there...LOL They stopped to have lunch and that's the only part of Lichtenstein he saw I guess. The things he's seeing is so cool. What an incredible trip!

Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.

One month from today Cale will be in Europe. It's becoming more real and exciting for him. We're in Bozeman today for a mandatory meeting. The North Dakota kids met in Bismarck yesterday. The Montana kids are learning the music they need to practice. This is a few seconds of the Roller Coaster piece. It's a fun one.

Cale participated at the state Music festival today. He got a superior rating or a 1. He did amazing and the judge was awesome. The judge was fun to listen to observe as he talked and mentored each of the kids during the time slot I was watching.

Cale played two pieces at District Music Festival this week. He played well. His Bari solo got a 2 and his Alto solo got a 1. The judge really liked how he played his Alto piece and now he gets to go to state with it.

Last week, Cale practiced 3 pieces he had to do for his audition. They all have to audition for chair placement and to be assigned parts of music. 2 of the pieces were songs he got to choose. I enjoy listening to saxophones. Europe is getting closer.
