Well, this is fun:

**All four variants** of the gilt-morocco ‘ticket’ or bookplate of George Edward Staehle (1923–2008), MD, Grolier Club 1963–2008; representing his colonial-revival house (1950) in Short Hills (New Jersey), lettered “EX LIBRIS” in chief and “GEORGE STAEHLE” below, all blocked in gilt on (1) blue-, (2) green-, (3) maroon-, and (4) brown-morocco wafers 43 × 58 mm (1¾ × 2¼ inches); commissioned by Mrs Staehle (as a gift, no doubt) and supplied by Henry Clapp Smith (d. 1974), bookseller, of New York, 1951. Pristine, as new, unused.
