Founded by the Madd Kernel in 2005 in California, we are second generation poppers who now live in Monroe, Connecticut. Fairs, festivals, farmers markets, holidays, sporting events, concerts, employee appreciation events, wedding/baby/party favors, care packages, you name it we can make it happen, just ask!

Anyone hungry?? Then, we have a treat for you! Join us for Catherine’s Butterfly Party tomorrow, June 8 and indulge in some delicious vegetarian eats and drinks from your favorite food vendors. Pizza, bubble teas, Mexican treats and so much more! All guests are welcome to bring a blanket to enjoy their own packed lunch or sit at one of the many picnic tables while watching the festivities. Doesn't get better than that, am I right?

Vendor Highlight: Little Kernel's Kettle Corn

In 2005, husband and wife team, Randy and Robyn Nickels founded Madd Kernels Poppin Sweet Kettle Corn in Redding, California. Their daughter Janeille and her husband Elias would help on weekends, where it became a family activity for years.

In 2016 Janeille and Elias moved across the country from California and started a kettle corn business in Connecticut. They use top quality ingredients and it is always made to perfection!

They simply enjoy meeting new people and making them happy with their fresh, made-while-you-wait kettle corn.

We are so grateful to Little Kernel's Kettle Corn at the Trumbull Farmers' Market this season!

No better way to start your day- snackin on HOT KETTLE CORN watching the talented artists finish their sand sculptures. Live music 🎶, kids having fun making their own sand sculptures, bounce house, food trucks and craft vendors. Look forward to seeing everyone.

Atlantis Rising Sand Sculptures Event. Grab some kettle corn to snack while enjoying the artistry of these international sand sculptures. Kids can make their own sculptures as well. Artisian Vendors and live music. No better way to enjoy a 3 day weekend.

Little Kernel’s Kettle Corn please allow me to play hooky today!!! From Hurricane Lee to a beautiful sunny 75 degrees today- it’s my heavenly place to be at Misquamicut Beach. Fall Festival has been the best many great bands to enjoy listening to and headliners Ambrosia and Mac McAnally who has written many songs for other great musicians and sang with the great Jimmy Buffet. See you next month Misquamicut, for the Atlantis Rising sand Sculptures event.

Last night everyone was rockin including the seagulls. Yacht Lobster and Ambrosia, bringing back great memories. Hurricane Lee complimented the night with a gorgeous sunset.
Tonight come out, Mac McAnally will be rockin along with other great bands. Snack on good old fashioned kettle corn, always freshly popped, while you enjoy the bands.
