Our Story
My goal is to provide a Short Term Rental home environment for travelers so they can enjoy the comfort of a home rather than a room. Enjoy the freedom to cook for yourself rather than relying on restaurants three meals a day every day during your stay. Enjoy a real refrigerator with enough room to store your fresh foods, leftovers and cold beverages. There’s nothing like having a house to come home to, and it cost less than most hotel rooms! Amenities vary between upper and lower units but generally include everything you need except your personal items and groceries. General. Fire Extinguisher, smoke detectors, Carbon Monoxide detector, internet, Direct TV, water, electric, heat, air-conditioning. The Lower 2 bedroom which also has a handicap shower. The upper unit has a standard shower and bathtub. There is a Dollar General, CVS, Dollar Store, Grocery, fast-food and a few blocks south near Kroger on Monroe St. (M-25) and many other shopping locations if you need or run out of something. Kitchen. Electric stove, dishwasher, (lower 2 bedroom only) cooking spoon holder, refrigerator, dish drainer and mat, microwave, kitchen ware, basket with welcome snacks, full salt and pepper shakers, a general spice for anything, toothpicks, paper towels, food storage containers, foil and plastic wrap, pitcher, large bowls, with pizza pan, bread pan, muffin pans and cooling racks in drawer under stove, measuring bowl, toaster, coffee pot with clock auto shutoff measure scoop and reusable filter, hand mixer, casserole bake ware, shot glasses, trash bags, 4 chip clips, a couple used but mostly new SS pots/pans, cutting boards, hot pads, kitchen towels , dishtowels, and dish soap. Laundry room. Located in hall, has iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, broom, long cleaning wand, duster. Laundry for Upper half of the house is in the basement. Bathroom. towel sets with matching hand towels, and washcloths, liquid body and hair soap, blow-dryer, toilet paper, cotton balls, q-tips, makeup pads, first-aid kit. Bedrooms. Each has a Queen bed, mattress protectors, pillows with pillow protectors, dresser drawers, hangers, laundry baskets, sheets and bed sets and spare sheet set in bedroom closet for extended stays. Room darkening curtains in bedrooms.
