WOW! The calendar has rolled around again!

Another momentous Birthday in our family!

Please help me say Happy Birthday to the wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, and all 'round Great Guy, Rex Morris!

Today marks his 70th trip around the sun! Who knew that young 'kid' of 22 I met back at Ft Polk, LA would be such an important part of my life. Thank you for being the wonderful man you have become!

Almost 47 years of marriage, 5 kids, 4 granddaughters, and a million memories. Love you forever!

Some of you may have noticed (or then again, with FB algorithm you may not have noticed), I haven’t been posting much here in the past few months.

I’ve made the decision to semi retire to spend more time with my family. These last two years have taught me that the important things in life will not always be here, and in the end, those people are what make life important.

For me, semi retirement has meant no marketing, and only taking a select few repeat clients as well as those who had already booked for this year.

That has kept me just busy enough to start enjoying those things that are important.

When the new year starts, I will officially go into what I call ‘Hobby mode’. Meaning, I’ll only book family and super close friends travel while referring everyone else to trusted Travel Professionals that I’ve built relationships with.

To all the wonderful friends who’ve become clients, and clients who’ve become friends - Thank You for the past 15 years!

🌑⚔️💫 Rebels, it’s the day we train for all year...May the 4th...Star Wars Day. If you can’t be celebrating in Walt Disney World or Disneyland with a cup of blue milk and outsmarting Kylo Ren on Rise of the Resistance, then at least wave your lightsaber around while in the carpool line and yell “Rebel Scum” at the younglings walking to their cars. What do I love most about Universal Orlando?

It’s a perfect Family Getaway with something for the whole family with everything only minutes away from your room!

I mean where else can you park your car, leave it, and never need to see it again until it’s time to leave? Everything is walkable! Really! Food, entertainment, shopping, rides, shows, EVERYTHING!

🍍🗿🌺🏰 East Coast park pros who are worried they won’t feel some of that same resort magic when they visit Disneyland, fear not...the Disneyland Hotel sees you. Stroll out into the courtyard and you may feel a familiar island vibe wash over you. Between the ever popular Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar (say “yes, please” to the Piranha Pool) and Tangaroa Terrace, you’ll feel like you are back “home” relaxing at the Polynesian Village Resort. Anyone else feel like there’s a bit of a Walt Disney World ‘Ohana vibe at the Disneyland Hotel? 🤔

🤯🎧🎢📱Pro Tip: If you’re brave enough to tackle Rip Ride RockIt, you’ve earned the right to know there are SECRET song lists in addition to the regular playlists! When in your seat, hold down the ride logo for roughly 10-12 seconds and a number keypad will appear on the screen. You’ll then tap in your hidden song’s three digit code and press enter. Your homework is to find the list of codes before you arrive, as they do change. Rock on!

🌍✨🌳✨🌍Pretty sure it is no coincidence that Animal Kingdom opened on Earth Day back in 1998 considering what an absolute heart that park (and Disney) has for conservation. From live animal care and educating guests with important recycling tips to making amazing strides in protecting endangered species, Animal Kingdom is park unlike any other. 🦓 (Where else can you learn for sure if a zebra is white with black stripes or black with white stripes?!) What is your favorite part of this amazing park?

🤹‍♀️🥁🎶🎻 Strolling through World Showcase is like giving your passport a workout without ever having to leave the state of Florida. The fragrances, the food, the sights and especially the sounds. 🤑🚢To get THE best price for an upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation, booking in advance is a MUST. It can be kind of a bummer when you feel like your trip is light years away, but downloading the Navigator app can help with that. 📲You’ll see the days until trip time get closer every day you log in and get to learn fun things about your sailing before you even board your ship. 🎢🦖😱 Let’s talk about Universal’s Islands of Adventure’s newest coaster, VelociCoaster. The fear is REAL! The theming and thrills, especially from the moment you step into the VelociCoaster queue, are on point. There is never a moment where you aren’t 100% sure that you are about to ride the craziest coaster of your life...and I LOVE it. Are you ready to run from the raptors or will you be holding the bags while they snack on your family?

🍌😵‍💫🍌😂 Minion mania has swept Universal Studios, and in the nick of time! This much needed burst of color and humor has revived a once kind of dreary area of the park. There’s great themed quick service food fun, CAKE POPS, a new interactive attraction, merch and characters ready for their villainous close-up! On a scale of zero to five bananas, how excited are you to check out the new Minion Land at Universal? 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌

☕️🦒JAMBO! Back in 2001 we said “Jambo” to Animal Kingdom Lodge and resort stays like we had never seen before! Having your morning coffee in your Florida resort while looking out across a savanna and seeing GIRAFFES seems crazy, but Disney did it! Every inch of this resort feels authentic, welcoming and special. Who loves to call Animal Kingdom Lodge home?

👎🧺 The one “holiday” I’m not too anxious to celebrate, National Laundry Day. (Truthfully, does anyone actually LIKE doing laundry?) It’s a necessary evil and sometimes even on vacation. We all know those Mickey head ice cream bars melt faster than you can eat them. Every Disney resort has laundry facilities, so the real question is, have you ever been driven to have to use them? 🤔

You don’t need all that negativity from your dead house plants, but you DO need an escape to Walt Disney World! The Flower and Garden Festival checks all the boxes: 🥙🎸🌸🪴🤳Instagram worthy photo spots, fresh, delicious food, live music from timeless artists and being in the magic bubble after a long, cold winter!🥶 Who else thinks this special festival is a must see year after year?

🚢📍🗺️A big part of a cruise vacation are your port days. To get off the ship or not, THAT is the question. Sailings are fantastic ways to see many different locations all in one vacation. However, if you’ve been feeling like you haven’t been able to explore the ship as much as you’d like during your days at sea, here’s your chance! 🎉🎠🌂🍽️ It hasn’t seemed quite “fare” that we’ve had to wait over four years for 1900 Park Fare to reopen, but it’s baaack! For many, this has been the perfect start to a Magic Kingdom day or the perfect way to get a much needed break at dinner time with its prime Grand Floridian location. There will be some new mealtime friends to meet, but old favorites like the Strawberry Soup is ready to call us home! Who else is ready to pull up a chair at 1900? Has anyone dined here in the past and excited about the doors finally reopening? 😊

🦄🏍️🎢 🧙‍♂️When I say, “There’s nothing quite like Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure,” I’m not just pulling your wizarding robe ties, it’s true! Sure, it’s a coaster, but it is also imaginative snapshots from your favorite Harry Potter movies, a conversation with a beloved character and THE coolest ride vehicle ever. You’ll need to wait to ride this one, but trust me, you will WANT to wait. Hagrid fans, let’s hear you...how AMAZING is this adventure?! 🙌
