Greetin from the Sun has so much room for activities! The home has two living rooms, one with a large sectional sofa and a second with this queen sleeper sofa. Both rooms have SmartTVs and electric fireplaces.

Looking for an adventure? Greetin' from the Sun is located 15-20 minutes from The Caverns, a connected underground cave system that covers over 8,000 linear feet of known surreal cave passages. Underground shows are hosted in a section of The Caverns historically known to locals and cavers as the Big Mouth Cave because of its impressive, large archway entrance. Experts believe humans have been using the cave to escape the heat, take refuge from rain, and enjoy each other's company for up to 25,000 years.

Our newest campground, Little Cove, is now live on our website!
The campground is 7.6 miles from Fiery Gizzard North and 6 miles from Fiery Gizzard South. The campground features 5 regular sites and one group camp.

Calling all Spring travel lovers! The next couple of weekends are available! Grab any date between now and March 25, and then the house is booked until late-April.

For each booking, I like to put together a welcome gift. It varies each time based on how many people, the number of nights staying, and if a furry friend is visiting too. I must admit, I do get a bit more excited about shopping for the pet gifts that I do the human gifts. Either way, I try to make sure there's some type of snack in case someone needs it after long travels into town.

Anyone else anxiously waiting for Spring? I sure am! I have lots of plans for this outdoor space that I can't wait to get started. This porch extends completely down the right side of the house. Further back we already have a grill surrounded by tables and chairs. I think this place would be perfect for a nice seating area to enjoy as the sun comes up in the morning.

What flowers or shrubs do you think would look great here?

Greetin' from the Sun is furnished with a fun mix of old and new. This armoire
came from a young lady in Chattanooga that received it from her grandfather. Most old houses do not have actual closets, and I decided to not build closets into this one during restoration.

Need plans for the Fourth of July? The weekdays and weekend of the 4th is now available for guests. Celebrate this holiday of independence by going for a hike on one of the local trails to take in the beautiful views, grill food on the large deck, and enjoy ice cream on the front porch while the small town Monteagle parade passes in front of the house. This is one of my favorite spots in the house. It's home to our large leather bound guestbook. Almost everyone that stays writes a message in it. My favorite entries are the ones that share stories of family coming together. 😀 Although, I do get a good chuckle at the page that started with someone adding "Go Gaters", which then led to a page of football rivalry. 😂
