Stop on by Crofter's Green this Sat/Sun, May 18-19, between 9-4 for a multi-family Barn Sale! The address is 2956 Mountain Road in Montgomery Center We've got tons of stuff, including furniture, toys, tools, clothes, electronics, trinkets, doo-dads, and thingamajigs, all priced to sell*! Will add more photos once set up later this evening, but the barn is chock full!

When you arrive, park on the driveway and cross the lawn to the open barn doors, behind the arbor. We hope to see some friendly faces this weekend!

With warmer weather starting to creep in, we are starting to get ready for our 2022 wedding season at Crofter's Green!!

For those attending weddings at Crofter's Green this year, there are some great lodging options nearby for small and large groups alike. A great example is the recently renovated Janski Manor in North Troy, a truly epic 19th century home beautifully restored just last year. This gorgeous property sleeps up to 14 people and makes a great home base for groups of guests joining for a Crofter's Green wedding!!

Crofter’s Green is getting greener! 🌱

Though composting food scraps has been mandated in Vermont since the beginning of July, we’ve struggled for several reasons to offer consistent composting to our guests, especially during the winter.

Thanks to we’re now able to compost at our cottages! The best part is, they accept a lot of items that our backyard compost can’t! 🥩🦴🧀

The time has come to address one of the most important and frequently asked questions we get: “Is the hot tub open in winter?”
YES! The hot tub is most definitely open, and in our opinion, winter is the best time to use it.
Besides balancing the chemicals on a daily basis and the inevitable routine maintenance, we do our best to keep it open 24/7, 365 days per year.
What about germs, you ask? We simply ask guests to respect one another’s space at the hot tub. We also keep an alcohol-based sanitizing spray in the general area for guests to use on any surfaces.

We have an exciting new addition to the Crofter’s Green team! Meet Solomon: he cries a lot and regularly falls asleep on the job, but we are over-the-moon in love with him 🥰 Thanks to all of you for your patience as we slowly respond to business emails and phone calls since getting home from the hospital. We are all doing well and looking forward to an exciting late fall/winter season at the cottages! ❄️❄️❄️
