As most of us in the southeast are on the spectrum of either soggy to hunkered down, this Hurricane Helene is something that has really interfered with some of my clients’ Disney vacations!

I’ve had to rearrange some check-in dates and dining plans for some and just encouraged some others who have already been there most of the week.

My client Kathryn H (who has given me permission to share this) could be totally bummed because the Halloween party she was excited to attend tonight has been canceled. But instead of being bummed, she bought an extra day of tickets and went into the parks TODAY where the crowds are SOOO LOW (35 minutes posted at 7 Dwarfs Mine Train! Thats unheard of!) and look at this rare opportunity for them to see the Rainy Day Cavalcade! It actually brings tears to my eyes to know they’re making special memories and having a wonderful time, in spite of the changed plans!

Disney World is just the best at bringing the magic, even in the midst of yucky weather! This is why I choose to keep my travel biz focus HERE because I know that when hiccups arise, Disney is always gonna take care of my clients!

Hear me out… I think I have figured out the best time to go to Disney World this summer…

AUGUST!

Here’s my opinion as to why I say this!

Overlaps the following :

1) Drone show at Disney Springs May 24-Sept 2

2) Encanto Sing-Along June 10-Sept 6

3) Tiana’s Bayou will *probably* be open (my prediction is we will hear announcement for opening around Memorial Day but we sure are starting to get close so I may be wrong 😂🤪)

4) Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will PROBABLY be happening by mid-August

5) People are getting ready to start back to school and are often less focused on travel so the crowds tend to be lower

6) Currently up to 30% savings in August on resort stays! (Depending on resort, number of days, most guests will save between 30% & 10% on their resort in August!

7) People who apply for & get approved for Disney Visa can currently receive up to $400 statement credit (usually it’s maxed out at $300) so wise-working of this offer can be very valuable in saving on an August vacay! (I can refer you!)

That’s ALOT of things making August a GREAT month to head to Disney!
