I just finished a great visit to Unico 20 87💜, a luxury adults only, all suite resort on a beautiful stretch of beach. Besides touring the resort, we attended a mixology class where we made margaritas!

My first two nights in Mexico for ALG’s Ascend conference, I will be staying at Grand Velas Riviera Maya.

The AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Maya is impressive! Set in the Yucatan jungle, there are multiple restaurants, bars, pools, and beach setups on the Caribbean Sea. The resort is connected through walkways high above the ground so guests can waltz through the tropical foliage with iguanas and spider monkeys and above mini cenotes.

Ocean and jungle view suites with expansive terraces (and some with plunge pools) are enormous, with contemporary Mexican décor, spa-style bathrooms, and unlimited snacks, wine, and artisanal mezcal created exclusively for Velas Resorts. A private butler concierge service for every suite and a staff guest ratio of three-to-one allows for the ultimate service

Later this month, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will pilot a new service called Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which will provide expedited entry to theme park attractions.

✨ Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities and will give guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day.
✨ This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, guests do not need to select an experience time.
✨ Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium offering, and prices will vary based on the date and theme park guests are visiting.

At Disneyland Resort, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available first come, first served beginning two days in advance of a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both theme parks. The first date it will be available is October 23, 2024.

At Walt Disney World, when Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day. The first date it will be available is October 30, 2024.

Travel insurance is ALWAYS important to consider when planning a vacation, but it is particularly crucial for travel from August through October because of hurricane season. These dates are super popular due to slightly lower rates and crowds, but they are less expensive and less crowded for a reason: the chance of hurricanes.

If you are ok with losing your entire vacation investment and creating a stressful situation for yourself, then skip the insurance. But if you'd like to salvage some of your vacation, then always opt for the insurance. Every client I work with has travel insurance included in their vacation proposal.

So, Hurricane Helene knocked out power and internet at my house Friday. Thankfully🙌we have power back, but internet is going to take until next week 👎🏻. This makes running an online business challenging. I’m incredibly thankful for relatives that have allowed my family & I to use their electricity & internet through the weekend & the rest of the week,
