This was a little gem hidden under a few coats of paint. It’s vertical grain Douglas Fir. The stairs were in bad shape, but we brought them back to life. They are far from perfect, but once the skirts and risers are painted, there’ll look great. Finished with one coat of Pallman color sealer and three coats of Pallman Power waters based polyurethane in a satin sheen. #killingitatclassicwoodfloors , #pallmann
getting ahead of my crew!
We got the stain on today. This floor is colorful to say the least. Can’t wait to see it with finish on. #killingitatclassicwoodfloors, #rusticwoodfloorsupply, #durasealdave, #durasealstains
This is such a great job! It’s 2039 square feet of 4” quarter sawn White Oak. The contractor had a sample of Minwax Provincial Stain, but I mixed a 50/50 mix of Duraseal Antique Brown and Neutral, so we’re going with that. We will finish with three coats of oil based polyurethane in a satin sheen. More pics to come
We’re working an old farm house here on the Palouse. The floors are old Vertical grain Douglas/Red Fir. The top floor is almost finished. We are using Glitsa water based polyurethane in a satin sheen. #killingitatclassicwoodfloors, #rusticwoodfloorsupply,
When the 1912 center needed their solid maple floors restored, they entrusted that job to us, Classic Wood Floors & Carpentry. We refinished 2700 square feet of existing #1 Hard Maple and another 1300 square feet of new. These floors are now 109 years old and still holding strong. We finished them natural color with three coats of Fabulon super satin oil based polyurethane. #killingitatclassicwoodfloors, #rusticwoodfloorsupply, #fabulon, #1912center, #1912centermoscow
This floor is looking great. It's in an apartment here on the corner of main and 1st street here in Moscow, idaho. We installed 500' of 6" Red Fir/Buckskin Tamarack mix flooring. #killingitatclassicwoodfloors, #durasealstains, #duraseal, #glitsa, #rusticwoodfloorsupply
Had to make a quick run to California, so we hit the Ventura pier to do a little fishing. We left a bunch of snow back in Moscow, Idaho.
We're installing 1800' of #2 common 3/4" X 2-1/4" Southern Red Oak. We were able to get the trailer in and unloaded on an unplowed gravel driveway without getting stuck; barely. Today they plowed it, but that was after we made our way in. There was probably a foot and a half of snow. No work, no eat. Get it done! #killingitatclassicwoodfloors. #primatechflooringtools
