For most of my life I was a stay at home mom. I was blessed with 2 children, 13 years apart and was lucky enough to be able to stay home with both of them. A few years ago when my life situation changed, I found myself unprepared for the workforce. t 2 years I have had health problems that have recently made me unable to work...but unfortunately I do not qualify for disability insurance...I have crocheted most of my adult life, and this is my favorite past time...in order to be able to keep myself in yarn and patterns, I have offered here items for sale. I also have come up with a few original pattern ideas that I will be offering to purchase as well. Not everything always sells, and that's ok too, most of my enjoyment comes from the actual making of things. :) In order to keep my house from being overtaken, anything that does not sell within a 3 month time frame will be boxed up and taken to a local Domestic Violence shelter and donated. This way I have the opportunity to afford occasional yarn and pattern purchases...while offering my designs for sale, and donate to a worthy cause several times a year as well.
