WE ARE LOOKING FOR A METAL BUILDING CREW MEMBER!

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assembles prefabricated metal buildings according to blueprint specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and hoisting equipment; working as member of crew.

TYPICAL DUTIES: Erects frame of building, using hoist. Bolts steel frame members together. Attaches wire and insulating materials to frame work. Bolts sheet metal panels to framework. Reads blueprints to determine location of items, such as doors, windows, ventilators and skylights. Installs items, using cutting torch, wrenches and power drill. Trims excess sheet metal, using cutting torch, power saw and tin snips. Perform other routine duties as directed by foreman/supervisor.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CARPENTER FOREMAN!

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lead a team of field carpenters to oversee constructs, er****on, install, and repairs of structures and fixtures with wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools, and conforming to local building codes.

TYPICAL DUTIES: Read and interpret prints. Layout to ensure accurate and precise ex*****on of work. Provide guidance and training to crew members. Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Monitor attendance of crew members. Coordinate manpower and resources with management. Shape materials to prescribed measurements. Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together. Verifies trueness of structure. Erect framework for structures and lay sub-flooring. Build stairs and layout and install partitions and cabinet work. Applies shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, and decorative paneling to ceilings and walls. Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, such as locks, letter drops, and kick plates. Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. Perform a variety of duties which may change often.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Proven experience as a carpenter foreman. In-depth knowledge of construction procedure, equipment, and OSHA regulations. Ability to read drawings and layout work based on said drawings. Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. Plan work and select proper tools. Valid driver’s license (with ability to get chauffeurs). Physically must be able to: climb and maintain balance of scaffolds and ladders; reach for, handle, and manipulate objects and materials; and crawl, and see well (either naturally or with correction).
