Condos #1411 and #1512 at Water's Edge Resort sit direct oceanfront on the family-friendly Garden City Beach in SC, located near all of the popular activities and attractions that the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand has to offer. Garden City Pier and Surfside Pier are both within walking distance of the resort, as well as some popular restaurants and local tourist attractions. Located on site at lower level parking and beach deck, you will find The Rising Tides bar/lounge, Gift Shop Mini Mart, and vending machines (drinks) for your convenience. You may never need to get back into your car while you visit! Two elevators are available to take you from the large parking deck to your floor. Plenty of luggage carts are available to make your transition to the condo easier. On your way from the elevator to the room, the view will take your breath away, especially the picturesque sunsets over the marsh from the entry side of the building. Make sure you catch the sun when it's setting...and then the moon!
When you walk through the doorway of 1411, you will instantly feel the luxury of having more space than your average oceanfront condo, featuring large rooms in the 1100+ square feet and full-size kitchen appliances/washer/dryer. Two bedrooms give you the option of having either a queen size bed or two twins. Both bedrooms have windows, large closets and dressers, flat screen TVs with cable, ceiling fans, and alarm clocks provided. The connecting bathrooms offer plenty of space and curved shower rods. The full-size kitchen is completely stocked with necessities if you choose to eat in. The dining and bar areas provide seating space for ten guests and places to plug in your electronics. Wireless internet is also included. In the living room, two couches create queen size sleepers with comfort toppers, and a large screen cable TV sits atop the electric fireplace. Central heat and A/C are nice, but you can use the fireplace to help heat the unit during a winter rental or those cooler nights. The large oceanfront glass door/windows will always remind you of why you came to visit. The spectacular balcony views will allow you to see all the way up the coastline, both north and south (bring your binoculars), while you enjoy the sound of the ocean and watch all of the fun going on below. The low light levels on the large private balcony beach side also provide a great opportunity for using your telescope to admire the heavens above at night. Get your schedule set to view both the sunrise and the moonrise directly over the ocean--you don't want to miss either! You can experience both from the comfort of the living room/kitchen/dining area or from the balcony. Patio furniture is provided for sunbathing and relaxing at the unit in privacy, and I'll bet you doze off while listening to the ocean waves from the lounge chair! For more adventure, you can go downstairs to the huge oceanfront deck where you're sure to find a spot to relax near the large outdoor pool and hot tub. Also available are an adjoining indoor heated pool (open year round, of course) and indoor hot tub. For those that want some air conditioned exercise, two workout rooms are also available poolside. You can exercise while you watch your children play in the pool. Convenient outdoor deck bathrooms and showers make beach fun more enjoyable and easier to clean up during your stay. I'm sure you will enjoy your vacation at Water's Edge Resort and become repeat guests! Renting 1411 can be done through the website provided at the resortโs current rates, or you can rent through me (as my guest) and save a little money. I can usually offer better rates as the owner, especially at the last minute or for odd openings that are harder to fill during any given week. 1512 is a penthouse corner unit, and acquiring this condo was a dream come true for us. It has many of the same qualities as 1411, but 1512 is over 1500 square feet for your home away from home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The master bedroom has a king bed and itโs own balcony. The other two bedrooms have queen beds, and the living room sofa makes a queen sleeper. The bedrooms all have windows that showcase the southern view of the beach and inlet. You have to see the photos to see the great qualities of 1512 with new renovations! You can rent this unit from my VRBO listing 1915381, or you can contact me via facebook to book privately. **Parking and pool passes are required for amenities and available at the onsite office during check-in. One parking pass is allowed for 1411 in peak season and two parking passes for 1512. All linens are provided and cleaning fee will be included in price. Sorry, no pets are allowed. The rooms and balconies are non-smoking, but designated smoking areas are provided at the resort.
