Good Morning, Facebook Friends!
I want to let everyone know that we are very grateful for the all the folks committed to Murrow, the volunteers, donors, and prayer warriors. Today, we need prayer, volunteers and donations!
Please pray for our transition program and that we will find staff to work the 3 pm to 11 pm shift.
This evening, we need volunteers to help mow and w**d eat. The grass and w**ds are out of control. Orin Turtle and Karlin Postoak will be mowing this evening and need your help.
Last but not least, below are our list of needs.

We are searching for a Transition Program Manager. We are a Faith-based non-profit. The goal of the program is to help young adults develop life skills and prepare them emotionally to live independently. Guide them in their faith and walk with the Lord and help them to be thankful for what God has given them. This program helps nurture lifelong connections, empowers youth to continue their education, helps them develop good coping skills, and decision-making skills. You will implement assessment tools and with input from the therapists, you will help them develop an educational and treatment plan, and an individualized transition plan that fits their needs. Be aware and open to alternative education styles for those who need credit recovery or struggle in the class room setting. For those who are still in tribal custody, you will Submit medical, educational, etc. reports to the program manager.
Prior to employment, you will need to complete and pass a finger printed Criminal Background Check, Child Care Restricted Registry Check, and thorough reference verification.
Submit to and pass a Physical and Drug Screen.

On Saturday, March 23rd, the 2nd Annual International Fashion show was held at Three Rivers Airbnb in Muskogee. There were some amazing designs by local designers and the models did an incredible job. There were even a couple of models from Murrow. They had some really good entertainers to include an Eagle Dancer. Megan Kelley, Erika Tucker and Elvira Smith did an awesome job coordinating this event. They donated half of the proceeds from the money raised to the Murrow Pregnant Teen Program. For those of you who were unable to attend, make plans to attend next year. It is an event to remember!

The mission team of First Baptist Church of Greenwood, IN are headed home. They are an amazing group of people. They arrived on Saturday and completed a tremendous amount of work. We are so blessed! Carlile cottage looks new. They cleaned, painted, repaired ceiling fans and drains and even added a few touches of their own. Ok, some of the touches they had to paint over, but a least they had fun. One evening, they had game night with the kids. The night before they left, we had pizza.

We are truly blessed to have an amazing group from First Baptist Church of Greenwood, IN with us. They arrived on Saturday and will be with us through the week. Allen assigned everyone an area to work. Jessamyn and her adorable daughter Adelyn were assigned to the office. They have tagged merchandise, cleared out old files and did inventory counts.
Emily, Kate and Dan were on grocery duty. They bagged and dated chicken and more chicken. Then rearranged the freezers to get all the bags in there.
Allen, Dan, Rebecca, and Cori coordinated the groups to do drains, screens and window repair and painting. They cleaned, hauled trash and added shelves to the storage building.

Behind our new Murrow Indian Children’s Home sign are members of the Wilson Indian Community Center in Henryetta. Last week they came to shop in our gift shop and dropped off some much-needed laundry detergent.

A special thank you to Governor Bill Anoatubby and The Chickasaw Nation for their generous donation to help in the support of First American children and teens. This funding is very much appreciated and will help us continue to provide care and help fund our new pregnant teen/teen mom program.
