Sierra Student Coalition S.F.A.S.U. The Sierra Student Coalition is a collaboration of students educating Stephen F.

Austin State University and the Nacogdoches community about the environmental issues we are facing today as well as encourage students to enjoy the Great Outdoors! We host events to raise awareness about important issues about Tar Sands Extraction, Mountain Top Removal and Big Coal. We also will host a variety of community events such as Tailgate Recycling, Angelina River Paddling Trail Volunteerism, and Weekend Excursions around the beautiful nature trails of Nacogdoches.
