Everything about Pond Island is breathtaking! The island is located on the causeway connecting Nags Head and Manteo. One of the Outer Banks’ smallest islands that is an absolute slice of paradise. It is close to all of the hustle and bustle, yet secluded and quiet to make your lasting memories. This is OBX living!
For the avid boaters, you can get to the boat ramp in about two minutes, conveniently located by the bridge. If you prefer charter fishing, Pirates Cove is practically next door, over the bridge. If you love to visit uncrowded, beautiful beaches, this home is close to Coquina Beach featuring a new walkway/ramp and great bathhouses. It is also conveniently two miles from Jeanette’s Pier and beach. When it comes to watersports, all of your needs are just a few miles from the home at Kitty Hawk Water Sports. Put your kayak in the Roanoke Sound for a day of fun, and come back home to have the most amazing sunset views over the sound. When it comes to shopping and restaurants, some of the best the Outer Banks has to offer is within very close proximity. The famous Lone Cedar Café and Tale of the Whale are less than a mile away and will prepare those fresh catches from your day of fishing. Adding another venue of entertainment during your stay, many of the restaurants close by offer live music nightly during the summer. Whether your preference is kayaking, fishing, windsurfing, or just a beautiful sunset; the best of the Outer Banks at the end of a day is at Pond Island.
It takes a home to turn vacations into family traditions, and that is what we pride ourselves in. The water views from the home are gorgeous in every direction, including the three decks outside of the home. The home has three bedrooms, two newly remodeled bathrooms, a kitchen to meet all the needs of your family and friends, a beautiful balcony overlooking the living room, and is pet friendly. The home is accompanied with smart TV’s in the living room and all bedrooms, premium electronics, and a game table on the main level to meet your entertainment needs when not enjoying the beautiful nature of the Outer Banks. For those looking for a little bit of quiet time, there is a quaint loft with space to stretch out and enjoy a great book. At the end of the day, enjoy the fire pit outside overlooking the beautiful sunsets. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the 2 additional bedrooms have queen size beds, and the loft has a daybed with a trundle to sleep 2 additional people. Sheets and towels are not provided, but can be rented thru a third-party if desired.
