Photo Find Friday—I think most people travel to see things they’ve never seen before or to experience things they’ve never experienced. Sometimes the reality lives up to the hype, and sometimes it doesn’t.
In 2023, I was blessed to spend time in Florence, Italy. Let me tell you that no picture, no movie that I have ever seen does the statue of David justice! In person, it is unbelievable to look at the lines and the veining and realize that this was hand carved from stone.

Photo Find Friday—There are a lot of memes that go around about how travel changes your life. Guess what kids, it’s true! In 2023, I had the opportunity to visit South Africa, and if I’m honest, I didn’t know what to expect.
Safari may seem like a scary experience if you’ve never been. I felt such a sense of peace being in nature with these animals. It was AMAZING❤️
I’ve been blessed to visit many European countries. I haven’t repeated any cities there yet. But I’m headed back to South Africa this year because I left a piece of my heart there…

For me, travel is about being present. I LOVE my travel photos because they take me back to precious moments, but it’s also so important to take time and just breathe. Savor the moments. Those are the times you will never forget!

What’s your opinion on budget airlines—do you get what you pay for? Do you think actions like this will change things for the better?

JetBlue is getting hit with a $2 million penalty for chronically late flights. The Transportation Department said Friday that half the money will go to passengers who were delayed on flights along four routes on the East Coast between summer 2022 and late 2023.

Photo Find Friday—Are there any travel destinations that have stolen a piece of your heart? I have a few. One of them is the Grand Canyon. I find it to be such a peaceful spot. The first time we visited was in 2011, and we’ve been back several times since. Where do you find yourself returning to again and again?
