Sometimes I just look around online for random cheap flights with really no destination in mind.So in the beginning of June when I found round trip flights from Nashville to Hollywood Beach, FL. For like $40 per person, I knew Brandon and I had to jump on them.
I’m always getting asked or seeing questions of where can we just go to get away for 2-3 days with no kids. It’s not always realistic for parents to leave for a week at a time, I’ve been trying to focus on visiting a lot of Hidden Gem Destinations that parents can find their quick weekend escapes. As much as I love booking the Week long vacation, or sending my client families to Walt Disney World, I can also book those sweet short much needed getaways!
Today let’s look at Hollywood Beach FL.
Morning of our first Day!
We grabbed the early flight out- yes it was on Spirit airlines- but for $40 I packed my personal bag and went about my way, the flight was on time it was a clean newer plane, I downloaded my Netflix shows beforehand, I grabbed myself a drink at the airport and brought a unopened breakfast snack from home, so the whole no food service didn’t bother me at all. It was a smooth non stop flight little shorter than 2 hours. Would I take the thinner seats on a flight across the country ~ probably not~ but for a straight flight down to FL I really have no reason to not recommend Spirit!
