A Kentucky woman allegedly killed her mother after conducting witchcraft in their home. Trudy Fields was found dismembered, with gruesome evidence revealing a bloodied mattress and her body parts COOKED IN A POT in the oven.

In Tullahoma, TN, the Shelton family was known for their stunning daughters, but it was the youngest, Olivia, whose kindness would seal her fate.

Is this former First Lady Sarah Polk?

She is buried on the grounds of Tennessee State Capitol with her husband James. But they were moved there 100 years ago after being when their house was torn down. Unhappy Sarah continues to haunt the location and is particularly drawn to the children ghost we have on the grounds never having children of her own.

The children are extremely active in communicating with our tours and call Sarah "Grandma" for watching over them.

How to Become A Ghost 101: Dig up a body!

Outlaw John Shaw bit the dust in a gunfight with Sheriff Houck after robbing the Wigwam Saloon in Winslow. Shaw and his buddy William Smith made a run for it to Canyon Diablo but didn’t get far. Houck and Deputy Pemberton tracked them down, and after a wild shootout, Shaw got a one-way ticket to Boot Hill, while Smith ended up in jail.

But here’s where it gets wild! Some cowboys in Winslow heard Shaw had paid for whiskey before his heist but never got to drink it. So, they hopped a train to Canyon Diablo, dug up Shaw’s grave, and gave him his last drink – Weekend at Bernie’s style! They even took photos with Shaw’s not-so-lively self to commemorate the moment. Rumor has it his ghost still haunts the saloon, looking for the whiskey he never got to finish.

So, if you hear the clinking of bottles or see a shady figure at the bar, just know it's probably Shaw trying to score a drink in the afterlife!

My relentless quest to uncover the life of the legendary "Mayor of Printer's Alley" continues, yet the more I delve, the more there remains to discover. I never presume to grasp the entirety of his narrative, recognizing its boundless depth, but I am committed to honoring it faithfully. Preserving Skull's legacy is a debt we owe, a pledge to ensure his memory endures.

Engaging anecdotes from those who knew him well illuminate Skull's passions, such as his unwavering love for wrestling, or his stint living alongside his favorite wrestlers on Gay Street, eager to learn a few moves from them. Or how he sat on the bench in front the Rainbow Room in his He-Haw Overalls inviting anyone new he saw on the alley with a guitar on their back to come in for a cheeseburger and some onion rings.

His absence weighs heavy on my mind daily, especially whenever I walk Printer's Alley, imagining the joy of exchanging greetings and petting his beloved poodles.

A NASHVILLE COLD CASE! Meriwether Lewis, famous for the Lewis and Clark Expedition, was handpicked by President Jefferson to explore the western continent. After the expedition, he became Governor of the Louisiana Territory. But his story took a dark turn on October 10, 1809... On his way to Washington, D.C., Lewis stopped at Grinder’s Stand in Tennessee. Mrs. Grinder later recalled him pacing and mumbling strangely in the common room. That night, gunshots rang out. Some say Lewis called for help or water; others heard him say, "It is so hard to die." Yet, Mrs. Grinder did nothing. Come morning, Lewis was found in his own blood, barely alive. He died shortly after and was buried nearby. Historians mostly agree it was suicide, but the lack of solid evidence has led to speculation of murder. The Meriwether Lewis National Monument now stands at his gravesite on the Natchez Trace Parkway, acknowledging the mystery of his death. Visitors report a restless energy and strange occurrences.
