Southwest has increased it's business card bonus to a whopping 120,000 points!!! Can we say, "Companion Pass time, friends!?!"

You only have to earn 135,000 points in a calendar year to earn the Companion Pass, so if you can spend $15K to earn the 120,000, you'd be only 15,000 points away from earning the most coveted pass in the travel industry! And if you earned it in the next few months, you'd have the pass through December 31, 2025!!

How do I know? Because we have two!! Everywhere we travel, two people are ALWAYS free!

How many flights have we taken this year? Vail, CO, Washington DC, Punta Cana, DR, Sarasota, FL, Orlando, FL (and probably two more this year). And most of the time, two people have flown for $5.20 each (taxes)!

Y'ALL!! I've been busy for six weeks straight. I'll post pictures soon. Hint: my baby has graduated which came with LOTS of extra events (prom, graduation, a surprise party, a trip to Gatlinburg, her final ballet performance, water wars, and many church and praise band activities)!

Let's talk about building credit for your children....

I am frequently asked about how to building credit for students and young adults. Many 18-22 year olds are trying to establish responsible credit, and they aren't able to do so. Here's why! You've waited too long....

If you properly steward your finances and ALWAYS pay your bills every single month, when your child turns 13-years-old, add them as an authorized user. I cannot stress the importance!

You do not have to give them access to that card, but you will want to swipe their card every once in a while (or give it to them on a special occasion, like a trip to Dollywood...that's what I did 😁)!

I added our baby child when she was 13, and the day she turned 18, and we were able to check her credit report, she had a very healthy score, along with six years of established credit.

TODAY is the last day to earn the coveted Southwest Companion Pass with only one credit card. After spending $4k in three months, you'll earn 30,000 points and have the companion pass through February 28th, 2025.
