Welcome back Maldives travelers!! Our group had a great time below and above the water, and all along the way and back! The manta sightings were memorable, especially for those seeing them for the first time. We had a crazy experience with spinner sharks, and there was even a bull shark and shovelnose ray in the mix. The corals were beautiful and the fish were plenty - sometimes so many it was hard to see all the divers! And congratulations to Carol and Dan for milestone dives - Carol 1000 and Dan 200!!

Welcome back Cozumel travelers!! Our group had a great time both below and above the water. We saw spotted eagle rays, loggerhead turtles, lots of beautiful reef fish, huge colorful sponges, and so much more! We enjoyed some wonderful meals together both at the resort and in town, and had a fire ring/s'mores night! Here are a few of the group pics. Join Carol for this Mexican getaway. It's been awhile since we've been to Cozumel so it's time to go back! Famous for its drift dives, we'll also experience magnificent coral formations and lush walls. We'll also enjoy their vast array of marine life including possible sightings of spotted eagle rays, turtles, nurse sharks, sting rays, groupers and a variety of reef fish. Our package includes 6 days of 2 tank dives so plenty of opportunity to see all the cool creatures. Afternoons can be spent on the private sandy beach or at the pool, or doing more diving! Welcome back Grand Cayman travelers!! Our group had a great time both below and above the water. We saw sharks and rays (southern and spotted eagle) and eels, oh my! And we had many milestones along the way - a newly certified diver, 100th dive, 300th dive, 800th dive, and a completion of the Green Short Challenge!! Congratulations to all! Fun Fact Friday!!

Did you know... I'm fascintated that I've been able to find so many fun facts over the last 7.5 years to share with you (that's almost 400 posts!!). It's an amazing world with such interesting creatures. And I appreciate the comments that some of you have provided! So, here's the last one:

Did you know... The Pacific spiny lumpsucker is a fish with no scales, no swim bladder, and pretty much stays stationary. Their body is covered with cone shaped plates that are typically brown or green, sometimes with yellow or orange highlights. To compensate for no swim bladder their pelvic fins are more like a large suction cup used to attach them to solid objects. As the name describes they are found around the Pacific Northwest as well as the Bering Sea, Chukchi Sea and around northern Japan.
