Me, oh my, my, oh, wow!! Between three supermoons in a row, an eclipse, the aurora borealis, and now a comet that will only come close enough for it to be seen once from planet Earth and then never again is happening this week! Look up! There’s only one more day, about 45 minutes after the sun sets tomorrow it will never be seen from planet Earth again! Get yourself a chair, some blankets, if it’s cold where you are, and a beverage of your choice, watch the sunset and wait for the comet to reveal itself! Lookup! How many lives do we get on this planet?!? #😍

After a full day of running about, riding bikes from one store to another we got this view… and it makes it all worth it! If I hadn't become a sailor I would have had to look into becoming a pilot. Between the sky and the sea I don't know which one has my heart more…

Bass Harbor Lighthouse on the day we left Southwest Harbor! Two minutes later we got a hail storm but only for 10minites… We’re hoping that that is the only storm we encounter on our trip south… Going to be leaving Rockland soon! The Jerry cans are onboard and filled with fuel, the water tank is full and the cupboards are stocked. A quick trip to town today for a few little things and then it's around Cape Cod we go.

Our last sunrise in Southwest Harbor till next year! We are going to miss it so much!! 😭😭😭 But, If you need a sailing day over the winter you know where to find us! Let’s go sailing in the U.S. Virgin Islands next! We’ll have a quick stopover in the Penobscot to hide from the next few potential storms but then it’s all the way south we go! We’ll put out our tracker before heading offshore. Stay safe everyone.
