The flame for the 2024 Paris Olympics has been lit in Olympia, the birthplace of the ancient Olympics. The flame will now begin its journey in a relay to light the cauldron that will mark the opening for the Summer Games in July.

As you may know the summer Olympics will be taking place in Paris France this summer.

But what’s really cool is that the Olympic Flame Lighting ceremony always gets lit in Athens at the Temple of Hera Ancient Olympia.

The ceremony starts off on the 16th and travels thru Greece until the 26th which it will depart from Greece to somewhere else.

I followed the route and we will be in one location at the same time.

20 April: Acropolis – Athens – Olympic Stadium – Ancient Delphi – Lamia – Volos

This is the day we board the ship. But be on the look out. I hope to view it.

Did anyone catch a glimpse of the torch while it traveled down 61 on the way to ATL in 1996?

I want to post what restaurants are complimentary and which have a charge. It's confusing.

All guests have access to all the restaurants. The Thalassa and the Taverna are the 2 that are included for all.

The Smoked Olive allows the Jr Grand Suites and Grand Suites to eat there at no additional cost if they are ordering from the Main Dining Room Menu. If they or other guests (staterooms without a balcony) go they order from the a la carte then they need to pay.

The Pink Moon and the Grill Seekers are an additional cost to all guests and is a la carte rates.

And the Greek deli is additional for all.

And be sure and review the drink package so you will know what is complimentary.

All EDocs have been emailed along with great intel in the email. You may want to print down the email as well to keep for reference of times, etc. REMEMBER only 1 EDoc needs to be presented at the cruise terminal at check-in, per stateroom.

Getting questions on a couple of items.

**Just to clarify I will be sending out edocs for cruise mid week. I just didn’t want to send them out too soon. Actually they aren’t even required at cruise check in - you will be required to show passport.

**Health Questionnaire will be required to complete 24 hours before we board. That will be at the Athens group dinner. Only 1 questionnaire is required per stateroom. If you don’t print out or should you misplace before we get to Athens, I will have extra copies at the dinner. Should you misplace that then they will have forms at cruise check in that you can complete there as well.

Any questions on those 2 documents?

***Be sure and call your phone company that handles your cell phone if you plan on signing up for an international plan.

It’s always a great idea to contact credit card company for card that you will be taking and let them know the dates and country you will be visiting. Also get a 4 digit pin in case you need euros. Or if needed in case of emergency. 🆘

Oia- most famous and beautiful city in Santorini with Blue domes. We gonna go there without waiting in the line, in private area. Because, usually, there is a lot of people. Only few guides are allowed to go there.
We gonna visit also big Cathedral and Old Castle.
Red sand beach.
Perissa, Perivolos- black sand beach. Free time to swim and have dinner next to the sea.
Back to Fira - cable car

In all those places I'm gonna make pictures for you. Many tour guids usually just leave people in Oia and you have to find Blue Domes etc. by ur self...we don't do that! 🙏 we gonna go to Blue Domes without waiting in the line, in private area.

If its 4+ people, then it's 90eur per person. If its 10+ people, it gonna be 80eur per person

Also, we can offer you half day tour with Catamaran for your second day, for example.
