🥂Happy 15 year anniversary, FTJ!!

✨ 15 Years of Fairytale Journeys Travel ✨

This month marks 15 years since I started Fairytale Journeys Travel, and honestly, it’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me. Not many people know this, but it all started with Disney Cruise Line.

Steve and I took our boys, Wilson and Garren, on a Disney Cruise when they were just 1 and 4 years old. That trip changed everything. The memories we made cruising every year during Fall Break are ones I will cherish forever. It wasn’t just about the destinations—it was about the time together, the laughter, the magic. I knew then that I wanted to help others create those same unforgettable memories.

At the time, I was a third-grade teacher, but I’ve always had the drive and determination to keep pushing forward—I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I started Fairytale Journeys Travel on my own, working late nights and early mornings, balancing it all because I believed in what I was building. A couple of years later, I brought on my first travel advisor, and that’s when I realized—this wasn’t just about planning vacations. It was about changing lives.

Over the years, the travel industry has changed, and running an agency has come with its challenges, but I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it. Fairytale Journeys Travel is a Platinum Level Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, achieving Platinum Earmarked Status for eight years in a row and ranking among the top 20 elite agencies in the U.S. selling Disney Destinations. While growth brings new challenges, the heart of this agency remains the same.

This coming week, we celebrate 15 years at our annual Fairytale Journeys Travel Summit—a time to reflect on where we started and the incredible future ahead. But more than anything, it’s about celebrating our amazing travel advisors. Their passion, dedication, and hard work are what make this agency so special, and I am beyond grateful for each and every one of them.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my husband, Steve, and our sons, Garren and Wilson. Their patience, sacrifices, and hard work behind the scenes have been a driving force of this journey, and I am forever grateful for their love and support every step of the way.

To all of our advisors, clients, and supporters—thank you. Your trust, belief, and love for Fairytale Journeys Travel have made this dream a reality.

🎃 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was a hit this year! 👻

We had to reschedule due to Hurricane Helene but we finally got to enjoy the snacks, fireworks, shows, characters, trick-or-treating, and low wait times for our favorite rides.

🎃We love this event and totally think it’s worth it for the low wait times, character interactions, and trick-or-treating (we got enough candy to pass out to our neighbors on Halloween so no trip to the store for us).
