So I had planned to go Plein Aire painting today. Cleaned my easel, and palette and had everything packed. The weather did not cooperate but I still wanted to do it , so I did a painting looking out my studio window of our backyard.

Original watercolor bookmarks.
When I have a little time to paint, I like to sit and paint something smaller... something that still makes me try different things and practice. I have been making these bookmarks, some are not here since I forgot to take the photo, but I have done St. Joseph, Our Lady, St. Terese, and St. Stephen. I have given them as gifts. Makes a great bookmark to put in your bible or book. If you would like me to do your favorite saint or image , send me a text.
They are only $20.00 and they are sealed for protection.

I have one person interested so far in the watercolor lessons. It will be on June 25th which is a Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. I would like to have more students, anyone else interested?
$50 - 3 hours- all supplies included.

Watercolor painting classes coming up .... are you interested? They will be at my house like I have done before , 5 people max, all supplies included. Times would be from 2-5, or from 6-9 p.m.
The price for the 3 hours is $50. The day of the week will be either a Tuesday or Thursday.
If you are interested when you answer let me know what day and time you would prefer.
We will be painting a New Orleans Shotgun.

Hello everyone!! I am back! very busy and dificult times these past weeks:: my brother passed away sadly after a short fight with cancer , he was only 60 .....The time before his death, and funeral was very sad. I am grateful for art and good friends and family that uplifted me. Also my grand daughter graduated from High School and she had her final Dance Recital after 16 years. It was amazing and so emotional to see what a wonderful young lady she has become.
So now I am painting more and working on a sketch a day, to keep up my drawing skills.
I am working on a painting from a photo I took in Pals, a medieval town, close to Barcelona. I want to enter it in the New Orleans Art Association National show. I will keep posting the progress.
