โšก๏ธ Great bowls of gumbo! โšก๏ธ It's a classic dish that can be found everywhere in New Orleans, from fine dining restaurants to the corner store . . . not to mention your neighbor's house! Here's just a few of our favorites:

๐Ÿฒ Saint John features a "gumbo du jour" inspired by Vermillion Parish (aka Cajun country) favorites.

๐Ÿฒ Mr. B's Bistro's Gumbo Ya Ya is a classic with dark roux, chicken, and andouille sausage.

๐Ÿฒ Trenasse's "Fowl Gumbo" might sound like a misnomer, but adding duck confit to chicken and andouille gumbo will always be just right.

Feeling the love in the air this Valentine's Day? ๐Ÿ’• NOLA Food Goddess offers a trio of romantic restaurants on Magazine Street to set the mood for romance. Check out the link in our bio for the full article!

1. Ooh and ahh together over Louisiana crab claws in passionfruit butter, or gnocchi with sage and brown butter at Lilette. ๐Ÿ’

2. Nothing will make your hearts all a-flutter like a romantic meal at Coquette. Trade bites of smoked trout roe and onion dip, and fried flounder with chow chow and green peanut tartar sauce. ๐Ÿ“ธ ๐Ÿ’

3. Makin' groceries is always a heated affair at La Petite Grocery. It's hard not to wax poetic about the blue crab beignets, turtle bolognese or Abita Root Beer float with house-made cardamom ice cream. ๐Ÿ“ธ ๐Ÿ’
