This revised travel itinerary is to alert you of the new CDC requirements effective January 26, 2021. Please review this new information under the CDC COVID-19 Testing Guidelines.

CDC COVID-19 Testing Guideline

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has announced that as of January 26, 2021 at 12:01am EST, that all international airline passengers two years of age or older will be required to present documentation of a negative COVID-19 viral test result (either a nucleic acid amplification test or a rapid antigen test) or show proof of positive viral test in the past 3 months and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official stating you were cleared to travel, in order to board and fly into the U.S.

The testing must be done within 3 calendar days of your journey back to the U.S. (if you are connecting, the test needs to be performed within 3 calendar days of your first flight, as long as you have no layover of more than 24 hours).
This test is at the traveler's expense and must be presented to your airline at time of check-in.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has extended its no-sail order for cruise ships by 100 days, to July 19, which seemingly would put an end to cruise companies' hopes to return to service next month.
The orders make it clear they are referring solely to cruise ships: "This modification extension shall apply only to the subset of carriers...hereinafter referred to as cruise ships."
The order stays in effect unless the Secretary of Health and Human Services declares the COVID-19 public health emergency is over or the CDC rescinds or modifies the order.

I often have clients remark about how Chuck and I can travel with so little luggage. Many know we rarely check luggage and we are impatient people and don't like waiting for luggage to circle the luggage claims a zillion times, lol. I know there are times that more than two check on pieces are needed but if you can manage to carry your own here is a great packing tip.! He also has a backpack and I have a large bag that I can fit a small purse in. It really does work.
