I have a family leaving for Japan tomorrow and my partner included what3words throughout the info pack my clients received pre-departure.

The way it works is that the entire planet has been subdivided into three meter squares and every one of those squares has been assigned a unique combination of three words.

This is very useful to help direct travelers to that fantastic little hidden restaurant down an easily missed little side alley!

Who knows where Ittoqqortoormiit is 🙋🏻‍♀️

💚Greenland💚

The most isolated town in Greenland, Ittoqqortoormiit’s neighbours include the World’s largest national park to the north and the World’s largest fjord system to the south. Ittoqqortoormiit’s backyard is an unspoiled, pristine wilderness where wild animals thrive, millions of seabirds nest, enormous icebergs form a constantly changing sculpture gallery, and local hunters still follow the ancient traditions. Ittoqqortoormiit is the best place in Greenland to experience the traditional Inuit style of living and where you have the highest chance/risk of meeting a polar bear.

The poles are at the top of my bucket list and I’m adding Greenland as well. Our partner Expedition excursions include Greenland on their journey and I can’t wait to go!

The Peninsula hotels are favorites among my clients and they are adding a new hotel to the already impressive lineup: The Peninsula London.

22 years ago I experienced my first @aman at @amanwana It was our honeymoon and the property remains in top 3! Absolutely beyond in every way. Yesterday I was fortunate to be invited to @amannewyork and the jazz club/speakeasy secretly located inside, to meet with Aman General Managers from across the globe. You know you’re not in North America anymore when….. a snowcat tows you and your friends back to the lodge after an epic off-Piste excursion. Skiing in Italy is a dream.
