Summer is one of the most magical times to visit Disney World, but the Florida heat can be intense. Here are some tips to help you stay cool and make the most of your trip:
1. Stay Hydrated: Bring a reusable water bottle and refill it at the many water fountains and refill stations throughout the park. Drinking water regularly is key to staying cool and avoiding heat exhaustion.
2. Use Cooling Towels and Fans: Invest in cooling towels and portable fans. These can make a big difference in keeping your body temperature down.
3. Take Advantage of Indoor Attractions: Plan your day to include attractions with air conditioning during the peak heat hours (12 PM - 4 PM). Shows, indoor rides, and restaurants provide a great break from the sun.
4. Wear Light and Breathable Clothing: Opt for lightweight, moisture-wicking fabrics. Light-colored clothing reflects the sun’s rays and keeps you cooler.
5. Plan for Early Mornings and Evenings: The temperature is usually cooler in the early morning and late evening. Plan to arrive early, take a break during the hottest part of the day, and return to the parks in the evening.
