I recently traveled to London & Edinburgh with my almost two-year-old. Here are my Top Must-Have Items for making the trip more enjoyable for everyone!
1. If you haven't heard of Kooshy Kids you're MISSING OUT. This was hands down THE item of the trip. This cushion inflates to create a footrest that your kiddo can stretch out on, sleep on, and all around be more comfortable with. I opted for the self-inflating cushion, and it was 😘 There are other similar products on the market, such as FlyAway, but I have nothing bad to say about this product. Amazing. Wonderful. Will not travel without it.
2. Window clings. I know you're probably laughing at this one, but it kept my child entertained for so long that I was able to actually rest for an extended period of time. And that's a blessing. Inexpensive, easy to pack, and an absolute must. My child is mostly screen-free, so other entertainment items we brought on the plane included a busy book, a digital sketch pad, and a reusable sticker book.
3. RAIN COVER FOR THE WIN 🙌 Rainy weather does not keep us from exploring, but a cold, wet toddler can. This rain cover was honestly the real MVP of the trip. It went through a lot but never let us down. Our little one stayed warm and dry, and found naps on the go to be one of her new favorite things.
Traveling with a little one can be daunting, but I promise it's worth every hiccup. You can find these items and more in Rachael's Amazon Storefront. Tap on her link in her bio ✨
