Oh Mama Africa!! You are every bit the PROMISE LAND!! I had an amazing time in West Africa to say the least. Thank you first and foremost to AbroadwithLove for everything! You have made my entry into West Africa and epic one. Something about the smell in the air, the nuances of native dialects, and mannerisms of our people, similar to visiting the Caribbean that cried out WELCOME HOME! During this trip I was blessed to experience Senegal, Ghana, Togo, Benin and Cote Ivoire all from the vantage point of a local and a distant relative. I refuse to conform to the call of a tourist or maybe I can attribute that to the AbroadwithLove experience, especially as it pertains to Africa. I’ve grown up an avid reader on pretty much everything Africa. The trip was busting , nightlife, cuisine, networking art and culture Im very in tuned with my connection to these places and spaces.
