Couldn’t resist taking a few photos of Luther Gerlach checking out all the colors in “Reflections (aka Complementary Colors at the Water’s Edge), San Diego, CA. “
This cyano-lumen-chemigram is one of the newest of my “Impermanence” series, which is less than a month old. Made with materials I collected from Windansea Beach in La Jolla, California and shipped to myself in New York (specifically for photograms). Printed last week.
(Great to finally meet Luther in person for the first time when he came to Scott Nichols Gallery’s booth yesterday, booth C32.)
I’m not at today, but do have 4 prints at Scott’s booth and will be exhibiting quite a bit of work not too far away, via the future publisher of , along with some artists whose work I’ve admired for a very long time. Please join us from 10a-5pm at the DuMont Building, 515 Madison Ave, 10th floor, Rolling Stones Room, .
