Effective February 7th , 2022 and following the updates by the Moroccan Authorities. All passengers traveling from the USA to Morocco are required to complete the health form online via the following link : https://www.onda.ma/form.php

The form must then be printed, signed and delivered to the Moroccan authority upon the arrival.

Before boarding :

All passengers over 18 years old are required to present:

· A Valid Vaccination Pass (a valid CDC Vaccination Card)
+
· A negative PCR Test : The PCR Test must be taken no less than 48 hours before departure. The 48 hours is counted from the collection date.

Exceptions :

· Children Under the age of 6 are exempt from the Vaccination and PCR

· Children Between 6 and 17 years old are exempt from the Vaccination. However a negative PCR test is mandatory. The PCR Test must be taken no less than 48 hours prior to departure

At the arrival :

· Carrying out Antigenic tests for all passengers over 6 years old
· Carrying out Randomly PCR tests

كوفيد-19 : الحكومة تقرر ابتداء من 7 فبراير الجاري العمل بمجموعة من الإجراءات والتدابير استنادا للمقتضيات القانونية المتعلقة بتدبير حالة الطوارئ الصحية، وضمانا لحسن تنزيل القرار الحكومي القاضي بإعادة فتح الحدود في وجه الرحلات الجوية من وإلى المملكة المغربية، وبناء على توصيات اللجنة التقنية المحدثة لهذا الغرض

هذه الإجراءات والتدابير تهم :

- إلزامية الإدلاء بجواز التلقيح وبنتيجة اختبار PCR سلبي لأقل من 48 ساعة، قبل صعود الطائرة بالنسبة لجميع المسافرين الراغبين في الولوج إلى التراب الوطني،

- إجراء اختبارات الكشف السريع للركاب فور وصولهم إلى مطارات المملكة،

- إجراء اختبارات PCR على مجموعات من المسافرين بشكل اعتباطي فور الوصول، على أن يتم إخبارهم بالنتائج لاحقا. وفي هذا الصدد، سيتم وضع جميع التجهيزات والوسائل البشرية الصحية والأمنية والإدارية اللازمة لإنجاح هذه العمليات،

- إمكانية إجراء اختبار إضافي بفندق أو مركز الإقامة بالنسبة للسياح الوافدين على المملكة، وذلك بعد 48 ساعة من دخولهم التراب الوطني.

كما قررت الحكومة وضع تدابير خاصة بالنسبة للحالات الإيجابية :

* سيتم إلزام الحالات الإيجابية العادية بالحجر الصحي بأماكن إقامتهم، مع إخضاعهم لتتبع دقيق،

* سيتم نقل الحالات الإيجابية الصعبة والحرجة إلى المستشفيات لتلقي العلاج اللاز

DELAYS AND DISRUPTIONS 😏😩✈️

Cancellation of flights to and from Morocco 🇲🇦 🇲🇦🇲🇦 🌍 🌍🌍

Following the information communicated by the Moroccan Civil Aviation Authority, Royal Air Maroc international flights from and to Morocco will cancelled in both directions from January 1st, 2022 at 00:00, till January 31st, 2022 at 23: 59.

In this context, Royal Air Maroc supports its Customers during this period by authorizing the change or refund of international travel tickets according to the following options for any ticket with an initial travel date from January 1st to January 31st, 2022:

Either,

• A free change, upon availability, from and to the same destination or another point in Royal Air Maroc network in the same geographical area as the destination of the canceled flight (Africa, Europe, Middle East, North America), for a new travel date during the 15 days following the resumption of flights,

Or,

• A change, upon availability, without penalty with application of fare difference, from and to the same destination or another point in Royal Air Maroc network in the same geographical area as the destination of the canceled flight (Africa, Europe, Middle East, North America), for a new travel date between the 16th day after resumption of flights and October 31st, 2022

Or,

• Voucher refund: refund by nominative travel voucher, non-transferable, valid for 12 months from its issuance date. This voucher is refundable in cash on its expiry date if not used, and on Customer request (3) months at the latest after its expiration. The Customer will have to contact his initial point of sale to request his voucher, during the validity period of his ticket.

Or,

• Cash refund: The Customer will have to contact his initial point of sale to request the cash refund, during the validity period of his ticket. It should be noted that this option requires a longer processing time.

NB: Exceptionnal flights scheduled from December 24th , 2021 to December 31st, 2021 will be maintained 👏👏👏

STARTING DECEMBER 6, 2021

ALL PASSENGERS TRAVELING TO THE USA OR WHEN ENTERING TO THE USA TO PRESENT PROOF OF A NEGETIVE COVID-19 RT PCR TEST TAKEN WITHIN 1 DAY OF YOUR FLIGHT DEPARTURE .

When do I need to take a negative test to fly back to the U.S.?

Travelers flying into the U.S. from abroad need to show a pre-departure viral test result from a specimen collected no more than one calendar day from the flight’s departure from a foreign country or the first flight in a series of connections booked on the same itinerary. This test can either be a rapid antigen or a PCR test. This rule applies to all travelers flying into the U.S. from abroad (U.S. territories are exempt) regardless of citizenship or vaccination status.
How do I determine my testing window?

The rule states travelers’ COVID-19 specimen should be collected no more than one calendar day before the departure of the passenger’s originating flight to the United States. This is especially important if your itinerary contains an overnight layover — or if you’ve built in a stopover to add another destination to your trip.
For instance, if you have a flight from Phuket (HKT) to New York (JFK) that departs on Jan. 4 with an overnight layover in Dubai (DXB) — and your flight from DXB to JFK departs on Jan. 5 — you would need to take a test in Thailand on Jan. 4 for it to fall within the one-calendar-day window.
If you instead test on Jan. 3, you would likely need to get another negative COVID-19 test result before your flight left from Dubai, as you would be out of one-day window for your U.S.-bound segment.
What if I have a connecting flight through the US?

The new rule also applies to people merely connecting through the U.S., regardless of whether it is their final destination or a connection to another country.
What if my flight gets delayed or canceled?

With so much uncertainty in travel right now, the last thing travelers want is a delayed or canceled flight, but you should be prepared if it happens. The CDC order doesn’t specifically address rebooked or canceled flights. Still, if you miss a connection and need to get rebooked for the following calendar day, you will likely need to take another COVID-19 test if you’ve fallen out of the testing window.
If you find yourself with an unexpected overnight delay, you should immediately investigate testing options — either at the airport or in a nearby clinic. Be sure that the location can turn around results quickly enough, and make sure that the results will be provided in an acceptable print or digital form.
When does the new policy go into effect?

The order goes into effect for flights departing at or after 12:01 a.m. EST (5:01 a.m. GMT) on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021. That means any passenger on an international flight departing after that date and time would be subjected to the new rule.
The CDC said that it may exercise enforcement discretion “to adjust the scope of accepted pre-departure testing requirements to allow passengers and airline and aircraft operators greater flexibility regarding the requirements.” The agency said enforcement would be announced on the CDC’s website.
What if I’m entering the U.S. by land?

You will not need to provide a negative test if you’re entering the U.S. through the land borders with Canada and Mexico.
What about children?

All passengers 2 years of age and older traveling into the U.S. must provide proof of a negative test. Travelers age 2 and under are exempt from this amended rule, as with the original rule.
