So sorry to say, but we will be closed today, Friday April 19 from 11:30-4ish. I have doctors appointments for education on my port placement and chemo that starts next week. I hope to return by 4ish and be in til 5:30. Tomorrow we will be in regular hours, 10-3.

Friends of Sweet T’s, this is Katie (Tracie’s daughter) 🤗

We first want to say thank you so very much to those who have reached out to Momma thus far and the prayers & words of encouragement sent her way! We covet your prayers and kind words. For those who do not know, mom has been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer. Through biopsies and appointments thus far, we now know she has a triple negative, Stage 1B, Grade 3 form of breast cancer. This is a rapidly growing form and will require her to take a round of chemo prior to mastectomy surgery.

The past few years of starting up & running Sweet T's, she has met some beautiful women that she has been able to pray for and encourage during their fight and years after. This has truly been her ministry of faith. Although, we never thought she would be on the receiving end of needing that encouragement and treatment. We feel truly blessed for the connections she has made and the experience she holds now with the future ahead. This is not the news we were at all hoping for a few weeks ago when this came about, but we know God has a reason for this season ahead! We keep wanting to ask why and how things in life are just “not fair”, but we know life isn’t “fair” this side of Heaven and we trust God & His plan! He knew this was coming before any of us and He will provide the strength and peace needed to endure this storm. Mom’s favorite Bible verse has always been Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.

We know the future looks like a rocky road the next several months and we appreciate any and every prayer flooding the gates of Heaven! Mom has already been overwhelmed by the sweet souls reaching out to her personally and checking in on her! What a true blessing it has been to have such sweet concern and support from everyone!🥰❤️ This has led us to create a page to help funnel information to everybody in an easier manor as we definitely do not want messages to go un-responded to!

Mom is planning to still keep the boutique up and running as much as possible during this battle. This is great to keep her active and her strength up, but also difficult to juggle mentally so many different things at one time! We do also request in the coming months for people to be aware and sensitive around her immune system as she wants to stay active in the public as much as her body allows!

It seems a little overwhelming at times for her to maintain being a small business owner, Momma, Wife, Gigi, (and the list goes on) - all while preparing for & undergoing treatment. So with that being said, the 3 of us are hoping to post updates to the page below & also provide a place that mom can catch up on communication/messages as time and energy allows. Especially during chemo & surgery times, when mom may not feel she is able to manage the phone, we want everyone to feel updated & not left out from a response!
