Over the last year and a half (two spring basketball seasons), I've been contracted to serve in a number of roles for the Potawatomi Fire of The Basketball League (TBL). TBL is the third largest pro basketball league in the U.S. and just two steps below the NBA. The Fire won the 2023 TBL championship in just their second season. The players that make up the rosters of the TBL teams are former NCAA (Division I, II, or III) or NAIA athletes. Many have played in the NBA or NBA’s developmental G-League as well as professionally overseas for several years and are continuing their careers closer to home or seeking a larger contract in another professional league.

In addition to being the PA announcer for Fire home games, I've also written game scripts, previews, and postgame recaps, handled a large portion of social media, created written and graphical content for the website and digital game program, produced commercials and player intro videos for the scoreboard as well as a number of other small jobs to help things run smoothly.

Here are a number of graphics and videos showcasing a number of skills. I hope to continue some of these roles when the Fire look to defend their title beginning March 2024.

As basketball season is here, take a look at this recent project!

Earlier this year, I completely redesigned the interactive presentation for the SBU Athletics Hall of Fame lobby touchscreen display in the Meyer Wellness & Sports Center for Southwest Baptist University. Each of the inductee pages for the 70+ members of the SBU Athletics Hall of Fame now have longer, updated biographies, more photos, animations and more. Several inductees have popup video or audio interviews. There's also new listings for the Bearcat Service Awards as well as other surprises throughout the presentation.

These screenshots are part of the interactive project created a while back for the OBU Athletics Hall of Fame lobby touchscreen displays in the Mabee Arena inside the Noble Complex for Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. This project celebrates the great sports history of the OBU Bison, with videos, animation, and updated bio information for the 140+ members of the OBU Athletics Hall of Fame.
