It was a long day … but there was excitement in the air! So lucky to be a part of the celebration!

Disney World will celebrate all through 2022 so come join the party before it’s over!

T͟h͟i͟s͟ ͟l͟i͟t͟t͟l͟e͟ ͟w͟a͟r͟r͟i͟o͟r is joining me on this long weekend trip (of course he’s 14 now and not so little)... And while the 50th anniversary at Disney World is one heck of a reason to go… we are celebrating his resilience.

The dark side he battled at six years old was called Darth Vader…. Now it has another name - ARFID. This eating disorder has loomed for most of his life but launched an full scale attack during Covid. In the face of a lot of fear, anger and sadness… he fought back.
⠀
It wasn’t something I could do for him. Or even with him. He was away for months in treatment. But he is an outpatient now… there is hope and confidence … and while the journey to beat an eating disorder isn’t ever over and is riddled with setbacks… this weekend we try to appreciate how far he has come…

So bring on the magic… and let’s celebrate! Hope you will follow our adventures on this trip!

𝗠𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 (voted on by all of you) were made by …. I have never been able to wear the ears from the parks without getting a massive headache. These are so incredibly light and comfortable! I can wear them all day long!

𝗠𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 is thanks to of Painted Hair Studio…. I still can’t believe it’s my hair! 💖 She made some magic of my grey hair and dead ends!

𝗠𝘆 𝘁𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 (which will match my family’s shirts of course!) was made by Stardust Design on Etsy and finishes out the celebratory look!

~ I have ordered items such as water/juice/milk; breakfast foods; snacks; adult beverages; diapers and wipes; formula/baby food; speciality platters.

~ I always present my clients info on the best services to use for this purpose and make sure they are aware all Walt Disney resort rooms come with at least a dorm sized fridge.
