There are people out there adding a little extra to the world. He was one of them. Thank you, Captain.

We are saddened beyond words to report the death of one of our firefighters, Captain Brian Hughes of the Arrowhead Interagency Hotshots. Hughes' crew was preparing tactical firing operations on the on the U.S. Forest Service - Sierra National Forest when he was struck and killed by a tree. Hughes was with the Arrowhead Hotshots for four years and will be dearly missed by everyone at the parks. We grieve his loss.
